Hi Everybody!
If you haven't met our student teacher, Erin Luebber, you should. She is graduating from Central Washington University and will be with us until mid March as she prepares for her own classroom. We are very lucky to have her in our classroom.
Third quarter we've been learning about Ancient China and Greece in Social Studies. As a culminating activity we will have an "Own the Throne" election where students dress up as specific mythological characters and try to persuade others to vote them onto Zeus' throne.
We've continue to prepare for the WASL. Special focuses include cause and effect and summary. We've studied many Greek myths recently as we've practiced these skills.
In addition, we've been practicing working with HousePlans.
