Fun Facts

Family: My family is the best. This past summer my parents, brothers and sisters and their families met for a family reunion. With 6 nieces and nephews all under 7, they kept all of us busy and laughing. Next year's reunion could be even more lively as three new little ones will enter the extended Cabbage family in this school year. Yippee! Check my family out over in the "Family Pictures" section.

Hobbies: Second-hand shopping, quilting, gardening, walking, reading, writing, traveling

The Best: Mint-flavored anything (except pepto-bismal), pre-loved treasures, my nieces and nephews, family, reading a good book, teaching

The Yuckiest: Stinky feet, mean people, sand lice, bubble gum ice-cream, road rage

Pets: I had a dog, Toby, for 16 years. He passed away in 2005 and I still miss him. I have 7 fish who call my home theirs. (What would a fish call sound like anyway?)

Big Events: This summer my sister Katy and I went on a 4500 mile road trip to Chicago. While there we, met friends, ate great pizza, visited incredible museums, went on a boat tour, and saw a show. What an unforgettable experience!

2005- I got my Masters Degree in Literacy. Yippee!

2000- I moved to Wenatchee to start my teaching career.

1997-1998- I lived in the Dominican Republic as a missionary helping many wonderful people. I learned to speak Spanish while I was there.
