How are students selected for AVID?
Teachers nominate students, who are then interviewed by AVID team members.
Students who demonstrate serious interest and a willingness to work
hard are accepted into the program.
How can I enroll my student in the AVID program?
Your student will be nominated by a teacher and then interviewed. Based
on your student's interest and commitment, he or she will be placed
in the AVID elective. Even if your student is not a part of the elective
class, he or she will be exposed to AVID organization and Cornell notes
in other courses.
