STUDENTS:

  1. 8th graders itŐs time to take a look back and dig out your baby pictures.  If you would like your baby picture in this years yearbook please submit it to the office by January 11th. Please make sure your name is on the back of the picture.
  1. 7th & 8th grade girls basketball players – basketball starts the first day back from winter break.  7th & 8th graders your first meeting and first practice will be on Wednesday, January 2nd from 3:00 to 5:00.
  1. 6th grade girls basketball players – basketball also starts for you the first day back from winter break.  Plan on attending a meeting after school in the commons until 3:30.  Your first practice will be January 3rd before school at 6:30am.
  1. Cashmere Valley Bank is sponsoring Wenatchee's 4th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay Contest, which is open to all 6th - 12th grade students in the valley.  The purpose of the essay is to encourage students to think critically about Dr. King's legacy of peace and justice.  If you are a RIGOROUS writer, see the contest details on the Falcon Flyer board in the Commons.  The contest is open to everyone.
  1. Eighth graders Second Semester Aide Forms will be available in the office starting January 2nd.  Stay tuned for further announcements.
  1. Students who are interested in attending the after school Art Club on Wednesday and Thursday, should stop by Mrs. Lancaster's room to pick up a parent permission ticket. Art Club is free and any student is welcome to attend!
  1. Tomorrow there will be an extra session of Holiday crafts in the library during the lunch periods.  All students are invited to participate but we will not introduce a new craft until Wednesday. This session will be a good opportunity for students to finish and pick up candles, ornaments or cards that they started last week.
