STUDENTS:
- The seventh
grade spelling bee will be in Room 211 at 2:50 today. If you are interested please be
prompt.
- Do
you want to learn new dance skills? Do you want to make new friends? Are
you ready for some fun? Then, you are ready for the excitement in meeting
and performing with the Apple-Ettes Dance Team at mini-camp. This event
will be held Saturday, Feb. 2nd from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
Students are invited back to dance in the halftime show of the Varsity
Basketball game that evening. More information is available in the office.
- Attention all
6th Grade Girls: Wenatchee Valley Lacrosse will be holding a
"check-it-out" night on Wednesday, January 16th from 7-8 pm for
all 5th and 6th grade girls interested in playing lacrosse this spring. It will be held in the gym at
Mission View Elementary, at 60Terminal Avenue. This is a great opportunity to learn a bit about the
sport before committing to play, and meet other kids from throughout the
valley. No need to sign up-just show up and have some fun, lacrosse sticks
will be provided. Flyers are
available in the office for more information.
- 8th graders, the office is in need of 2nd semester office
aides. If you are interested
please stop by and talk with one of the secretaries.
- 6th,
7th, and 8th grade boys turning out for wrestling
– your first practice will be held next Tuesday, the 22nd,
from 3:00 to 4:15. Please
make sure you have your forms turned in and are cleared for practice by
lunchtime on the 22nd.
- Falcon Flyers: Awards will be given out to all of
the Falcon Flyers, who met The Challenge this term by submitting their
Tally Folders for judging. Come to the Library during break on Wednesday morning to celebrate!
- Please dismiss the
students participating in the Jazz Workshop at 12:15 today.
