STUDENTS:

  1. Spring sports start the first day back from spring break, April 7th!!!  6th, 7th, and 8th grade track athletes be ready to practice on the first day.  Meet your coaches in the gym at 3:00.  Make sure to dress in layers.

Girls planning on playing softball, you will have an informational meeting next Wednesday, the 26th after school in the commons.   Arrange for a ride home at 3:15.

Remember, all spring sports forms need to be turned in by thisThursday.

  1. Congratulations to our March students of the month.  The topic for this month was good choices, accountability, responsibility, dependability, and consistency.  The students are: Cecilia Aguirre, Sam Martin, Linnea Berdine, Emily Williamson, Lindy Holmberg, Jamy OÕ Neel, Celeste Jacobo, Loryn Franklin, Rose Barber, Jorge Ramos, Brenna Visser, Ryan Wheeler, McKenzie Ervin, Tye Roelle, Tony Ortiz, Hailey Vonwald, Clayton Reynolds, Kaden Noble, Eduardo Bravo, Anthony Sprugasci, Ryan Osterlund, Derek Chapman, Grant Inabnit, Bryon McRae, Rachel Leiber, Olivia Schroeder, Lauren Williamson, Imelda Mariscal, Kendralili Arndt, Kim Solis, Lisa Jedlow, Carly Mackenzie, Kaycee Howell, Ashley Heuchert, Jose Luna and Audrey Ketcham.
  1. Are you the new face of link?  Link transit is looking for students active in after school activities to participate in the New Transit Ambassador Program!  Selected students will be featured in radio commercials, a photo shoot for bus board ads, and appear at featured events to represent the after school activities pass fundraiser for your school!  Criteria for selection will be based on creativity in both a short essay on transit and your creativity in submitting a digital picture of you representing you after school activity!  Be creative but keep it simple!  Only a few students will be selected, application deadline is April 11th, 2008.  Additional application information is available in the school office.
  1. Yearbook staff, our last meeting of the year is today after school in the tech lab.  If your page was in the 2nd group, your final deadline is this Friday.
  1. This is a very important message from PTSA: Top Seller's and fundraising totals will be announced during the lunch periods today. If you have a fundraising packet with Value Cards that you did not sell, they must be returned to the fundraising volunteers in the commons following my announcements. If you have your packet at home, please bring it tomorrow.
