Building a Caring Community
STUDENTS:
- 7th & 8th grade girls interested in playing school soccer
– you will have an informational meeting today after school in the
gym. The meeting will last no
longer than 15 minutes.
- The WHS Colorguard Team will be
here Tuesday May 13th in the gym to hold Auditions for the 2008-2009
school year. If you are an 8th grader and enjoy performing, dancing, and traveling the country, this is
for you. No experience
necessary. We will come and teach you basic flag and dance skills. Don't miss out on this wonderful
experience.
- After school Art Club will be
held next week Wednesday and Thursday, May 14th & 15th, in Mrs.
Lancaster's room 107. This month the focus will be on artist Alexander
Calder who is known for his metal sculptures and mobiles. If you are
interested in this session, please see Mrs. Lancaster for a ticket.
- Remember
today is the last day for MotherŐs Day craft making in the library during
lunch - DonŐt miss out!
- 7th Graders will
join Mr. Williams and Ms. Mowat in the Aux. Gym today for a preview of
their 8th grade US History timeline AND the annual 8th grade trip. From the Pilgrims at Plimoth, to
the battlegrounds of the American Revolution and the Civil War to our modern-day
government in the nation's capitol, you'll see the sites of our history.
