STUDENTS:

  1. Falcon Flyers, who turned in their Parent Permission Slips for today's field trip to the opera performance at the high school, should meet Ms. Mowat in front of the library at 12:20.  Please bring your white ticket with you to board the bus. 
  1. Readers looking for RIGOR should check out the New Books cart inside the front door of the Library.  Ms. Mowat has put out some challenging titles for all of you, especially those of you with high lexile scores. 
  1. Let It Snow!  Come to a Brown Bag Lunch next Tuesday in the Library to learn about the Mission Ridge Teacher's Assistants Program.  The Ridge is offering 52 hours of training to teach job skills needed to become a snow sport professional.  See the red flyer on the Falcon Flyer board in the Commons.  All students are invited to attend.
  1. Falcon Flyers:  Mark your planner for an upcoming Brown Bag Lunch on Tuesday, November 13th in Lab 108.    Ms. Mowat will walk you through the on-line WOIS Career Interest Survey.  You will receive points in Career Exploration.  The activity is RELEVANT to your goal setting and career planning!
  1. Attention all SADD Club Students.  The first meeting will be Monday during both lunches in the library.  So bring your sack or hot lunch and great ideas to the library next Monday.  Remember, you must have a signed Parent Permission Slip and your ASB fee paid to participate.  See you then!
  1. Today is magazine sale prize day!  In your first period class you will be receiving prize redemption tickets.  Redeem your tickets during lunch time TODAY.  You must have your ticket to get your prize.  The BMX stunt show will be on Wednesday, November 14th. You will receive tickets to the BMX show the day of the show.
  1. Today the ASB wants to invite you to the first PEP rally today!  Come help us support and celebrate our fellow students who have participated in extra curricular activities this quarter.  You will be excused to the gym at the end of 7th period with a n announcement.
  1. A lunch time reminder – please remember that you are not to be in the hallways during your lunchtime without a hallpass.
