We are starting strong in room 206! Your child is bringing a book( for pleasure reading), the planner, binder, and writing materials to class each day. He or she comes on time and is prepared when the bell rings. Grades will be updated periodically, and projects are progressing nicely.

Following Washington state's grade level expectations, or GLEs, our class will learn how to better communicate ideas, read using different strategies, and write using the Writing Process. Integrating the curriculum ideas, your child will remember and be able to use these strategies to improve his or her learning and understanding in each subject.

Cluster grouping, curriculum compacting, small group instruction, teamwork, and adjusted expectations are all strategies used in this class.

I enjoy the children. They have fun while they learn. Thank you for sharing them with me. You are invited to visit whenever you are able.
