FMS PTSA Board of Directors Christmas Party

1- ATTENDANCE: In attendance were, Joan Mullene, Elizabeth Nordi, Angela Prater, Thomas Dietrich, Amy Farris, Lisa Riggan, Jackie Ferguson, John Waldren, Jeanna Stillman, Sandra Lancaster, and Silvana Dice.
2- MINUTES APPROVAL FOR THE RECORD: The minutes for the November 19th meeting were approved, and a correction should have been made as per JackieÕs email to Silvana. Under the treasurer's report, Ruth Mattson does not have an art fund with PTSA, as stated. However, the expenses she turned in (60 some dollars, ) should be deducted from the Art & Drama line item of "misc. art grants." Jackie has said: ÒI offered this as a way to pay, so that Ruth would not have to use her $100....at least this time around. I know that we will absorb every one of those dollars budgeted for art & drama by year's endÓ.
3- PRESIDENTÕS UPDATE: Amy welcomed the board and thanked everyone for the work that has been done thus far. There was no formal business except that the board voted anonymously that Joan Mullene takes the office of VP of Communications. Julie Beaudette has accepted full time employment and has sent in her resignation from the board. Julie had sent in Cindy FraleyÕs name for consideration to fill the position which the board appreciated. The board voted to have Joan fills the position because of her year long involvement with the Board as the Newsletter Editor. Amy would communicate the decision to Cindy Fraley.
The Board spent the rest of the meeting time visiting and enjoying some threats, brought in by the board. Amy kindly brought in some gifts for the board members.
The meeting was then adjourned to the 14th of January.
