Math Supplies

 

6th - 8th Grade Math


The sixth, seventh and eighth grade math teachers are very excited to begin a

new year with you. Each math student is required to purchase a hard cover,

“clear view”, 3-ring notebook in order to keep a portfolio of all the math

work we complete this upcoming year. We have put together a list of

supplies that each student should assemble and organize as your math

notebook.


List Of Math Supplies:

1. 2 inch hard cover, “CLEAR VIEW”, 3-ring notebook

2. 3-ring binder pouch with zipper (i.e. pencil pouch)

3. 1/4 inch graph paper (also labeled 4 squares per inch)

4. standard calculator (+, - , x ,÷ , % ,)

NOTE: Pre Algebra, Algebra I and Geometry students need a

compass, colored pencils and scientific calculator

(i.,e. TI 30xa).

5. protractor

6. ruler with both standard and metric units of measurement

7. pencils (2 in binder at all times)

8. 2 correcting pens (red)

9. highlighter (any color)

* Items 4 through 9 should fit in the binder pouch

10. 5 organizing tab sheets to be labeled in this order: VIP, Homework,

Assessments, Journal, and Vocabulary


These are all common items and can be found at your favorite department,

discount, or office supply store.
